Love the way Jennifer Hartmann writes
This is a great story line. Very well explained & she takes the time to use words to help you imagine and feel the emotion behind it. Wasn’t a rushed story. Recommend as an audio book.

Beautifully crafted story of heartbreak, joy & lov
The first book Ive listened to from this author- definitely wont be my last. Exceptional character development, plot ripening and scene establishment. This one has it all- tragedy and perfect imperfections. A+++

Disappointed
Oh I was waiting so long for this book to come out on audible. I love forbidden love, best friend dad, dad’s best friend, ex-s dad… love all of it. So this story on a paper looked like a perfect match for me! I have heard so much good things about this book, so much hyped about it. Buuuut I am so disappointed. It was a beautiful written book. Lovely story. Unfortunately I couldn’t get connect to this book. I found it boring. My heart wasn’t in it 😞

Really sweet romance
Great book, really sweet relationship that tracks overtime. I wish there was a bit more at the end about their relationship and coming back together. But it was a great listen overall.

Delicious age gap story with perfect voices
I love Jennifer Hartmanns writing, I loved this book and the audible book did not let me down. I rarely eate books 5 stars but this deserves it. The narrators perfectly suited the characters (Reed is the perfect book boyfriend and Gideon Frost was perfect to voice him). It's angsty it's a little bit spicy, with great side characters and beautiful character development. In my opinion, the perfect epilogue too.

Did not live up to the hype
This is beautifully written, the way words are put together is like poetry. But this may be part of the problem I has with this book - it was just too long. Things got repetitive and stalled midway through and I found myself getting impatient and skipping parts.
It would have been good to see more of them together, not just in the epilogue.
Overall, very angsty, not spicy, very FMC focused. I won’t be recommending.

Love the voice actors and the book is fantastic it’s beautifully written the audible version is just as good 🙏🙏
