A boundless delight!
My love for Miriam Margolyes further deepened on listening to this audio book. The verbal delivery of her characteristic hilarity was a perfect way to consume it. I love her perfect vowels!
I have been watching Miriam in supporting roles for decades, she’s always been there. Seeing her step forth onto centre stage is the encore we’ve all been unexpectantly waiting for. Her big life, generous acceptance of humanity & bawdy humour are all expressed beautifully in this deliciously rambling memoir.
Oh Miriam! you are an international treasure!

Miriam is honest and to the point. nothing held back!
I love Miriam's love for all people, insights and observations of humanity and absolutely engaging story telling. I can not think of anything better than a dinner party with Miriam and this book is the next best thing. she will make you laugh, she will make you think.

Fabulous Miriam
I was so disappointed that the book came to an end, I get lost in her words, grammar and elecution. It feels like I’m sitting down with a good friend, having a good laugh. I will be looking for the next title as soon as I end this review. Thanks Miriam👍🙂👩🏻🌾

Thoroughly Enjoyable

Strong hilarious woman no apologies nurturing all in her world
Wonderful fun story telling about a life full fun and lived honest true still finding fulfilment and joy. Author reads makes the book. Thank you Miriam. How I'd love to make you a cheese cake and enjoy your company for an afternoon in the Southern Highlands of NSW. Talk laugh and never change .Kath
