Egan and Prince Raiden

This is a beautiful start to a wonderful YA novel. Both young men of 17, Egan a Blacksmiths apprentice by day and Dragon by night. Prince Raiden is rescued by Egan a friendship blossoms into young love. Both Author and narrator are new to me, but won't be for long.
