Great easy to listen to story!
really liked the characters & easy to listen to storyline. Liked the attraction & their love journey. bit like a 'm' rated (not 'r' rated) 50 shades book. well done. look forward to listening to more of her books.

long winded but sweet
it was a sweet story. the main character overshares minor irrelevant details that makes the main character seem more anal then artsy and mysteriously as I assume the writer is trying to make her. But overall it's a really sweet story would have made a better 6hr long story then I wouldn't have felt like forwarding through irrelevant internal dialogs and overexplanations.

This was fun.
Gemma is a great character. I love how she's unapologetic about liking one-night stands and short physical relationships.
I hoped there would be more with Gemma discovering her family and building a relationship with Phoebe, and her father and brother.

Jarring narration. Probably best for fans of NY accents...
A lot of melodrama. A lot of anxty internal monologue. A lot of breathy girly dialogue. Not for me.

Classic love story
This book was well read by the narrator doing all characters herself. It wasn’t a great story but it was ok. Very classic normal style love story. Worth listening if you can for free and looking for something to fill the gap between good books.

Absolutely Loved This!!
All hail Carly Robins! No one brings sassy FMCs and crazy billionaire hotties to life like this incredible narrator. Her ability to convey such a wide range of emotions and characters is phenomenal. I especially enjoy listening to her at 1.5-1.7 speed for an extra layer of intensity.
As for the story itself, I’m new to Julie Johnson, but she truly delivers. I loved this book and couldn’t put it down! The romance unfolds beautifully, and the plot is gripping and suspenseful. Johnson’s storytelling kept me hooked from start to finish. Highly recommended! Clean romantic bliss.
