About this listen
Despite the popular theology of our day, Christians should not expect to get out of experiencing the tribulation or the end times. Nowhere in the Bible does the Lord promise us this, say Michael Brown and Craig Keener, two leading, acclaimed Bible scholars. In fact, they say, Jesus promises us tribulation in this world.
Yet this is no reason to fear. In this fascinating, accessible, and personal book, Brown and Keener walk you through what the Bible really says about the rapture, the tribulation, and the end times. What they find will leave you full of hope. God's wrath is not poured out on His people, and He will shield us from it - as he shielded Israel in Egypt during the 10 plagues. So instead of taking comfort in what God hasn't promised, take comfort in the words of Jesus: He has overcome the world, and we live in his victory.

interesting but...
He makes some good points but as an audio book with the scripture references, I found it hard to keep up with him. I found it interesting on how he correlated the theology of the pre trib rapture with the orthodox dispensational point of view taken by many if not most Christians. He could have easily gone further on that because that would have been as just as compelling an argument against pre trib rapture. As with all book on prophecy lots of scripture references but I found his logical argument just as compelling. I gave it 3 stars because I couldn't follow the convoluted direction the book was going and couldn't finish it. Just got a bit frustrated with that part of it so just got the guts of what he was arguing and left it at that. it's better you get the hard copy or kindle so you can chase up the scriptures he's referenced.

Well-referenced treatise on eschatology
A very well-referenced treatise on Biblical eschatology. However, I would've liked a section about the Jewish marriage model - as backdrop to pretribulational rapture theology - critiqued.

Compelling Argument
Clear and concise, well written. Making a strong case for a Post- Trib eschatological belief.
