Editorial reviews

Deborah J. Ross' Northlight features a refreshingly female-heavy cast of characters. And these females are fierce. The audio takes place in a country called Laurea, which you haven't heard of for a reason - it's on the planet of Harth! But you haven't landed here at a particularly peaceful time: A. T. Chandler's rumbling deep-bass narration will keep you completely engrossed with the political upheaval, social hierarchies, and dangerous missions transpiring on this distant planet. Besides the fantastic adventure you'd expect upon leaving the solar system, there is also a fair bit of romance on Harth. But Northlight isn't just a book - it's a whole fantastic world, with all its complexities to fall into.
