Publisher's Summary
Brielle Ives prefers dogs to people, and who could blame her? Her sled dogs are loyal to a fault, trust her implicitly, and couldn’t care less about the scars that mar her face. The only human who’s never disappointed her is her mentor, Dr. William Hunter. When his plane goes missing in the remote Alaskan wilderness, Bree will do anything to find him...even if it means turning to a frustrating, irresponsible, and too-sexy-for-his-own-good California boy for help.
When Ellis Hunter enlisted in the Army at eighteen, he put Alaska - and his womanizing drunk of a father - in his rearview mirror. He promised himself he’d never return, but even he can’t resist Bree’s panicked plea for help. If she’s hell-bent on trekking into the bush to find his father, then he's determined to go with her. But Ellis isn’t the only one shadowing Bree’s rescue attempt....
When the search for answers leaves Ellis and Bree trapped together in the wilds of Alaska, they’ll have to put aside their differences - and an attraction hot enough to melt glaciers - to survive the elements. Because someone dangerous lurks in that icy wilderness - a killer desperate to keep Dr. William Hunter's secrets buried deep in the snow.

Very moving storyline
I loved it and couldn't stop listening.
Had to get the second book and I'm surprised that although there are 3 books, ea h has a satisfying ending.

family mystery and romance and dogs
I've had to do a change up from military HORNET to a mystery suspense.
Wow, talk about strong alphas and a dysfunctional family. But that's exactly the key to the suspense that carried me along, shivering all the way.
The elements of nature and the disasters that weave into this plotline were awesome yet scary to listen to.
I kept wondering about the h's plane and hoped they'd get it back for her. She was a strong, sassy heroine, and her affliction did nothing to sway that. It was so good to have her teach the H a thing or 2. Then
the questions that surrounded this book just kept rolling out, and with little time left, I thought the answers were going to book 2. But nope, I got it all, and then some with just enough to take me to Nates story. I like Nate's character but the youngest Damien, I want to wring his neck. I'm looking forward to his story.
I was excitedly and gaspingly shocked at the twist, and I had to applaud Tonya as it was an awesome storyline as I had no inkling.
Love, steam, romance, it has it all even laughter. love the digsvso much
Thanks, Tonya and Stephen Borne, he does a fantastic job with the narration .

Great story
I really enjoyed this story, I like that it wasn’t focused on cops I loved the family element, the romance and mystery. The story I wish went longer the last book I read was 22hrs which I prefer this was great but over too quick.
