Great family reading
We have listened to this together as a family and it has been throughly enjoyable. The story has kept us all (even the adults) on the edge of our seat. The story is filled with adventure and suspense as well as of fashioned morals. Would recommend this to children (and adults) ages 8 and up (but our 4 yo was pretty engaged too.

Nice story, amazing performance
I’m pretty sure this book was meant for kids, but i was so entertained by it that I had to find an excuse to finish it.
Peterson might not be like Lewis or Tolkien in his writing, but the story was still gripping. The narration by the author himself is amazing, with him making impressions that felt like he hired multiple professional voice actors.

Couldn't put it down!
In the feel of Vikings & pirates, a fantasy fiction world of monsters, dragons, heroism, and magic. A good verses evil story that plays out through all four books. Includes drama, thriller, humor, war, adventure, and science fiction. Adults will enjoy alongside their pre-teens. These books take you on a roller coaster of adventure! My teen is part way through listening to them for the second time.
