About this listen

Brought to you by Penguin.

The No.1 Sunday Times bestselling Richard and Judy Book Club psychological thriller.

Two children get on the train. Only one gets off...

'Probably the most suspenseful book I will read all year.' Liz Nugent

No one saw it happen.

Your two little girls jump on the train ahead of you. As you try to join them, the doors slide shut and the train moves away, leaving you behind.

Everyone is lying.
It's only when you reach the next stop that you truly begin to panic. Because there aren't two children waiting for you on the platform. There's only one.

Someone is to blame.
Has your other daughter got lost? Been taken by a passing stranger? Or perhaps the culprit is closer to home than you think?

Everyone is talking about No One Saw a Thing:

'You will look hard to find a more searing opening 15 pages of a thriller this year.' Irish Independent

'This sharply observed novel manages to be at once an intricate puzzle and an involving race against time' The Sunday Times

'I was hooked by the end of chapter one.' Jane Casey

'Such a clever page-turner' Cara Hunter

'I DEVOURED it.' Fiona Cummins

Slow start but good ending

Good twists in the end. The second half was more enjoyable as it took a while to get going.

Brilliant story that’s excellently told

From start to finish this is brilliant. I didn’t want to stop listening because it was so enthralling. All the characters were interesting and got me in. It felt like I was watching these people interact. Only a little disappointed how the story ended for a certain character because I quite liked him.

The narration enhances the story. Her flawless accent changes were amazing. Jessica nailed it.

A bit ridiculous…

A far fetched and ridiculous story… I’ve listened to some truly amazing books recently and this is not one of them. Too fast paced for me and no real character development. Meh.

Well-written but slow

The plot was well-written and woven, but I found the previous timeline too slow, and difficult to get through. it all comes together at the end, but it's slow-going.

A good read

Loved this, I enjoyed the mix of back and forth with timelines and what kept you guessing.

Addictive listening!

This twisty little story had a good plot that hooked me early & kept me hanging on to find out the answers.

My only reservation is that the ending seemed a bit rushed, whereas the rest of the book had a good pace with some engaging character building scenes.

A great read/listen for holidays as it's light but gripping.

Plot twists

Loved the plot twists! Interesting characters, you think you know what’s coming but you don’t. A bit of a slow burn for the first half but chapters are quick and there’s still a good plot
