About this listen
Recovered from his captivity aboard the Cjittan Generations Vessel, Benjamin Jamison has decided it is time...time to get to the bottom of what really happened to his family while there are no demands on him. Not an investigator by trade, he goes about getting information the only way he knows how - forcefully.
With the help of his crew and a bloody scrap of paper, he will uncover more than he bargained for, including some information he wishes never came to light. Love, hate, sorrow, and betrayal are his traveling companions, but even so, the journey is not without its rewards.
Benjamin Jamison is about to end what he started last year on the planet Anubis and force truth into the light. Force the past to give up long-buried information. He will do it or die trying and isn’t listening to...no more lies.

Verbally yelling "get on with it" indicates crap.
Okay, so I reviewed book 2 pretty much the same way.
I was wrong.
Book 2 is pretty much "When does the story start!!!!" ..... and seems rushed to satisfy publishers demands.
Book 3 is "waiting for the story to start" followed up with "GET ON WITH IT!!!!"
You get to the main title story which, in essence, is one chapter long.
There is sympathy for the narrator. He does his job well for the multitude of characters needing a voice, and having to follow what originally promised to be a good Book 1.
The patchy storyline, chop and change events, and yet another rushed ending just goes to show the author was defeated at the end of this instalment.(especially borrowing obvious themes from other contemporary sci-fi products.)
and in the end..... there isn't a completion of the promised story, just waffle.
I'm skipping Book 4 and putting myself out of my misery by going straight to Book 5, because I feel Book 4 will just be waffle.
(even though book 4-5 is supposed to be two parts, it's obvious that Book 5 is really part 4. and Book 4 is just gap-filler to introduce some superfluous characters.)
I'm disappointed.
