About this listen
Luke Peters wakes one morning, feeling under the weather. After staying home from school, he is confronted, first, by an old man with a shaggy German Shepherd, and then by a young man with a scuffed, metal baseball bat. The old man tells him that there was an attempt on his life while he slept and that another was coming soon. Luke, naturally, is skeptical until a young man arrives, seeking to steal Luke’s life. Luke finds himself ensnared in a war between two unseen forces and a relentless being willing to do anything and kill everyone to get to Luke. He has to rely on his own wits and decide who is trustworthy in this new, violent world.
