Sad story, good book. Frightful future indeed.
Sad story, good book. Frightful future indeed. If you are considering listening to it, then you are already the kind of person who will enjoy Orwell's imagined world.

Remarkably Familiar!
Several decades old and still relevant in today’s political climate. Articulated in a way that allows one to draw similarities to current events. Great book!

Brilliant look at what an almost accurate future.
This speaks volumes to me. I can perfectly envision this being our future, but worse I can already see how our present is shaping up to be this dystopia.
Orwell is a great writer who managed to portray his characters in a believable light.
