About this listen
I’ve never been a Daddy before, but now it’s all I want to be....
I’ve always thought Kinsey was hot AF, but now that I’ve come to know him, he’s so much more than a super sexy silver fox. He’s kind and caring and so damn courageous.
He’s also vulnerable and needy, and it lights me up like nothing else. I know I’m 20 years younger, but I want to take care of him.
I want to be his protector, his strong man, his knight in shining armor.
I want to be his Daddy.
New Daddy at 47 is part two of a duology, an emotional and yummy romance with an age gap, loads of hurt/comfort, and a beautiful Daddy/boy relationship that ends with an HEA. It also contains themes of addiction and religious homophobia.

Enjoyed mostly but . . .
Let's put it out there to start with, I'm not into the daddy kink. I don't really like it and usually, avoid books with it. Each to their own and if others like that, then they will like this.
It was a great way to finish off the story from the first book and I found all the religious stuff in it very interesting. I'm not religious at all. Probably you could call me an atheist, but I found the discussions around religion very interesting. How one church can view sexuality one way while another views it differently. The hypocrisy that is found in many religions and how they interpret the Bible is extraordinary. Interpreting it so it matches with their bigoted beliefs. It is astounding.
While this is a book of fiction, you can't help wondering how many lives in the world have been messed up because of those so-called beliefs. It is amazing that Kinsey hadn't found drugs sooner or something else. I really felt for him.
There is the daddy relationship with Benoni being the daddy. It seems weird considering he is much younger than Kinsey, but in many ways, it is Benoni teaching him the ways of the world and showing him how to live his true self. The boy teaches the man I suppose.
I loved the audio by John Solo, as I nearly always do. He is amazing and I look for books that he narrates. One of my favourites.
I think Nora Pheonix told a powerful story beyond the romance aspect of this book. I enjoyed listening to it, well except for the kink parts, but hey that is me. It was well worth the two credits I had to use to listen to both.

Love wins!
Fabulous story of how two men connect. Beautifully written by Nora Phoenix who knows how to write MM books with flair and heart. Adding the two characters from 'Firm Hand' was a hint of genius. The Narrator was excellent as well. I had read the stories first then bought them in Audio.
