Publisher's Summary
My cheating ex has me swearing off men. Until Lewis comes along, stealing my breath and my good sense.
I've never been one to lust after guys. But Lewis is six-and-a-half feet of rugged man, and he's...eye-catching. Sexy. And silently brooding in all the best ways.
The more time I spend with him, the naughtier my thoughts are of us together, and he's not helping put a stop to it. It's infuriating. I'm fantasizing and lusting, and I can't remember why I wanted to stay away.
But Lewis carries his own relationship baggage. Baggage that could break me in ways no ex-boyfriend ever did.
Despite all the reasons I shouldn't get involved, Lewis might be the one man I can't resist.
Excerpt:
He tugs down his shorts - and goes completely naked.
He glances up. "You can stay in your panties. I'm getting clean.... What? I trust you not to grope me." He grins.
Previously titled Mountain Man.

mess
Gen isn't all that likeable and Lewis is a bit of a matyr.
It's hard to get through the book.
and Not sure Mira the right choice for the next book, Zach and Nessa would have been better as the 3rd book. Mira's problems aren't going to get fixed that quickly.

Good read.
The title doesn't go with the storyline! i liked the characters and the end storyline, but it took a while to get there - it went on a bit at the beginning.

Wow
Really enjoyed this book. Loved that they had the hots for each other instantly. Lewis was determined to have Gen and keep her safe. Loved the Gen could see through to him the person.
Loved the drama and the mix of friends. Great read.
Narration was awesome too.

There’s a lot to this story
Never Date A Player by Jules Barnard is the second book in the Never Date Series.
Gen and Lewis’s relationship has been one that was hinted at in Never Date Your Brother’s Best Friend, which is Cali’s story (parallel timeline). However, each story can be read as standalone.
Gen has been seeing Lewis, and keeping it a secret from her best friend, for obvious reasons…Lewis already has a girlfriend. But it’s not as simple as being the other woman, as there’s a lot more to Lewis and Mira’s relationship.
There’s also some scenes which might be triggering to some readers.

very stupid and annoying heroine.
struggled to care or finish. girl is just stubborn beyond stupid and the behaviour of almost all characters is inconsistent and unrealistic.

Great continuation from book 1
Loved the clever way it gives another person’s perspective of events from book 1 but with a different story
