Publisher's Summary

My plan was perfect. My friend needed a date, and my brother's best friend was single. Problem solved.

Until I saw Jaeger for the first time in years, and sparks flew in the wrong direction.

Jaeger has grown up and bulked up. But that shouldn't matter because I have the perfect life. Really.

Only, my plans are beginning to unravel, and now, visions of Jaeger's hard abs, broad shoulders, and intense green eyes fill my head.

I should hold back in case my friend is interested. Or in case of a million other reasons. But if Jaeger isn't willing to play by the rules, I don't think I can, either.

"Addictive and marvelously refreshing." (Rumpled Sheets Blog)

"Realistic characters and smart writing." (Lauren Layne, USA Today best-selling author)

It was ok

It was ok, nothing that really stood out as being captivating or exceptional but it was an easy listen to while going for a walk

FABULOUS

This was an amazing audiobook! The narration was amazing, and the story even better. While the title doesn't quite fit the story - in the sense that Jaeger was friends with Cali's brother during highschool but most kept out of touch after that - it was still amazing and something I would definitely recommend. In terms of the narration it was amazing, differently adding more description and personality to the characters during the story. Cali, while a character that can be annoying at times, was actually really strong as a female character and you could definitely get behind as a person and the actions she chooses to make. Jaeger was an amazing character and definitely one you fall in love with straight away, even when there may be times where your heart breaks from that love. As I said before, this is definitely a book I would recommending and I hope that you find you love it just as much as I do. Enjoy!

A little to much drama but still a good read

While it has little to much drama for my liking I did enjoy it and found it hard to stop reading at times. I just wish it was less shit happen to the main character and more focus the relationships.

Emotional ups and downs

Never Date Your Brother’s Best Friend by Jules Barnard is the first book in the Never Date Series.

Cali has moved back to her home town for the summer before law school. But her life isn’t smooth sailing and there’s so many ups and downs.

The moment when I felt the first heartache, shows the true connection that the author has built throughout the story, and this continues to build as Cali’s story continues. There’s moments of frustration on behalf of Cali, that make you want to rush through the story to hurry up and get through these terrible times. But you can’t!

Cali and Jaeger’s relationship is also one that goes through trials, but they do get a HFN ending.

I know my review is kinda choppy, but there’s so much that happens in this story that I can’t go into more details without spoiling the story.

Happy ending

Lots of unforeseen twists, the ups and downs she encounters in her life are frustrating and believable, but it all ends happily ever after, just as I like.

Date your brother’s best friend

The title probably should have been “Date your brother’s best friend” because he was so right for her. Some parts seemed to skip and I would have liked more than just bypassing the sex scenes. Only one in the book folks.

Loved it… though the title is kinda misleading

I really liked the book but I still can’t get over that he wasn’t her brothers best friend… like they were mates in school but haven’t spoken in years…. So aren’t best friends.
Anyway that was my only issue, good book and good performance!
