Publisher's Summary
Damien had planned it all out.
He had the support of his wealthy parents, loyal friends who shared his goals, even a high-ranked Core just waiting for him to use. One more Dungeon run and he would be set–he was finally going to take the first real step on the path to fame and fortune as a Hero. The future was so bright, he needed shades to see it.
Was, in the past tense. Because Damien just died.
Instead of the pearly gates awaiting him, though, he's been reborn, placed in control of a Dungeon... and now might be a good time for him to reconsider everything he thought he knew about the way the universe works.

Can't stand the MC Total Progressive Whimp
For a 24 hr. audio cut it in half to get to some decent story progression. Way to much detail to the point of micromanagement details and the Dungeon settings is like insane so not much happens till the Main guy gets to level 7-10 which again is around the last 8 hrs. making the book become a slog. The main guy is a rich kid progressive/college drop out that needs a lot of real life checks / your a dungeon core now stop trying to be human that doesn't want to kill but is happy to kill dungeon monsters. Sierra dose a great job with this book but even she can't get me to like the main guy that i think needs his dungeon core heart broken a few more times to get the message you need to defeat or kill all who enter to survive. A lot of culture references and stuff but yea I was hoping for a lot of character development and dungeon building but this is like Evil Genuis 2 cranked up to 10 slow progression and micromanaging to the max which in turn slows the book down a lot in terms of story telling.
