Great Story
I liked this for a kind of mafia book. I will say the male narrator made it for me! The tone he used in this book was so freaking good. The character was a bit older and the male narrator fitted his age perfectly.

He does a really lame female voice
It’s disappointing that they have a male and female doing the voices, but still have the male do that horrible female voice in his chapters.
Found it hard to get into his parts, especially the spice… terrible mocking sooky voice - compared to the strong actual female voice

Unexpected and a good read
Didn't follow the usual Mafia formula. I enjoyed the main M character's honestly and growth, while the main F character's reactions were unexpected but a welcome change from the norm. Good narration and I liked the writing style. Am downloading Book 2 now.

Nero is my new book boyfriend
I really enjoyed this book, I loved the light stalking and obsession Nero has with Payton.
I would have liked to see Payton be a little tougher but that is my only gripe I have with this book.

Great Series
Loved the whole series. Books are similar in plots but just enough difference to well worth the listen. Narration was awesome Jack Callaghan perfect as the mafia boss.

that voice!!!! he was perfect for Nero and just how I imagined it when reading the book. really did enjoy this and I haven't really enjoyed audible except for documentaries as yet
