Publisher's Summary

Grainy CCTV footage shows a man walking into a bank and putting a gun to a cashier's head. He tells her to count to twenty-five. When he doesn’t get his money in time, she is executed. Detective Harry Hole is assigned to the case. While Harry’s girlfriend is away in Russia, an old flame gets in touch. He goes to dinner at her house and wakes up at home with no memory of the past twelve hours. The same morning the girl is found shot dead in her bed. Then Harry begins to receive threatening e-mails. Is someone trying to frame him for this unexplained death?

Meanwhile the bank robberies continue with unparalleled savagery. Gripping and surprising, Nemesis is a thriller by one of the biggest stars of Scandinavian crime fiction.

Scandal crime at its best

Where does Nemesis: A Harry Hole Thriller, Book 4 rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

Jo Nesbo just gets better and better. I am deeply in love with Harry and keep forgetting he is not a real person!

What did you like best about this story?

Harry Hole, the main character.

Have you listened to any of Sean Barrett’s other performances? How does this one compare?

Sean is the best. He doesn't just narrate, he IS the characters, and he is just wonderful when he does Harry's voice. It's pure genius.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Poor Harry. I am always moved by this poor man's struggle with life.

Any additional comments?

Best so far

From the onset this was captivating. Mind you, I do love Sean Barrett’s way of delivering a story!
