Publisher's Summary

There's a maniacal murderer on the loose, brutally slaughtering young women with a ferocity that rivals that of vampires Harry Koegh has spent his life combatting. The Necroscope's been asked to solve the crimes...asked by the dead spirits of the madman's victims.

Harry cannot turn down a request from the dead...even if it costs him his soul. In the climactic battle with the vampires, mankind prevailed and purged the vampires from earth - thanks to Harry, his team of psychically-gifted spies, and Faethor Ferenczy, long-dead "father" of the world's vampires, who betrayed his own kind.

But Harry's alliance with Faethor has a terrible cost - Harry's very humanity is under attack from the vampire evil coiled in his mind!

Ignore the narrator

Struggled to finish because of the narrator but powered through because I love the characters and books. Very graphic and many sex scenes to which the narrator made me cringe a bit... a lot. Great story as all books prior.

beautifully written, terribly read

the necroscope story with an amazing ending or... beginning, and once again poorly narrated with terrible inconsistencies as far as pronunciation and audio depth, don't listen with good quality hardware.

Another great adventure

Another great adventure in the Necroscope series.
Credit to narrator although woman's voices still sound a bit Monty Pythonish.

Such an Epic story

Troughton did a much better job with pronunciations this time. The Epic story of the Necroscope is complete...ahhh but the future is a devious thing...there are many more tales to tell.

Great story, frustrating narrator

Loved these books but Troughtons thin, camp witches cackle for everyone was so frustrating

Grest novel, average narration

Great novel but the narration is average. David Chungs character is a cockney, yet in this he gets some weird asian accent.
