About this listen
Imagine you’re the Pandora of myth and legend. The Greek chick with the box. Now imagine it’s your duty (and your curse) to gather up all the evil you set free and put it where it belongs - back into the box you were tricked into opening all those millennia ago. Add to the mix the world’s first rock star, an immortal villainess with a kink for poisons, and a management shakeup in the Underworld. Now imagine your box has been stolen.
Necrophiliac’s Honeymoon - book 1 in the Mythnics Cycle - is comedic urban fantasy with echoes of Terry Pratchett and Douglas Adams. It's author Paul Neuhaus’ mix of Greek myth and modern problems.

Let’s face it, I bought this because of the title.
The story is based on the Greek mythology and you can tell the author was inspired by the Percy Jackson series and American Gods. If you wanted a more adult version of the Lightning Thief series this seems like a reasonable book to get.
The book contains sexual situations, adult language, innuendo, and a lot of adult stuff not meant for kids.
Plot: For thousands of years, Pandora has been trying to capture all of the evils she was tricked into releasing. Recently however, she has gotten into a slump but not for long. Pandora’s vessel is stolen and she goes on a quest to get it back. As she searches the city the audience meets other mythological heroes and villains.
Thoughts: The book is nice enough if you want a laugh or two. Nice silly fun.
The author punches the audience hard with pop culture refences from the past century. This might be fun for readers in their forties and fifties, but younger readers will be quickly searching for references.
Sadly, this book was published two decades too late.
The narrator for the audiobook is Michelle Rene and she does a decent job portraying the humour.
