About this listen
As MI5 Director of Counterterrorism and lead culler to the crown, Gray Raoul knows this latest killer’s MO is something different. There is something unique with how he culls them. It makes the newcomer’s private signature mark towards other killers simple: I own you.
For Gray, the killer is natural-born culler material. The Monarchy’s psychopathic dog soldiers when it comes to instilling social calm on UK streets through brutal chaos. Yet, when an ex-trainee culler is targeted, Gray faces only one thing: the war with Light on the cullers has begun.
Left to unravel just how Light’s getting out from under lock and key at Gray’s manor before his killers are taken out, Gray’s dark offer of a father is pushed to the full.

Wow! Just wow!
I consumed this series and this book. As I moved through the series I kept on thinking that each book couldn't get better than the last. But somehow Jack L Pyke finds a way to create a new story that interweaves with the last and keeps you guessing till the end. The writing is complex but poetic at the same time, and the narration by Dan Calley in all of these books is superb. He has created voices that match the personality and emotions of each character ... and there were many in these books. As for that last chapter ... it made me fall so much more in love with Gray, Jack and Jan. I am still not sure how Jack L Pyke made me love Martin and his acerbic ways. He is a fantastic character and I hope we get to see him again in the next book. Tick, tock ... patiently waiting (not) for its release.
