About this listen

Nathan and his family enjoy Sunday dinners at Nana Cassandras house, where they talk about all kinds of things around the table. One evening, Nana surprises everyone with something she read online: Story time at the library had been canceled. Nathan is very sad, so he and Nana visit the library the next day to be sure. When the librarian explains that the story time reader had moved to a new town, Nathan and Nana set out to solve the problem by finding new readers.

Children will enjoy following Nathan and Nana around their diverse neighborhood as they try to find new readers among a juggler, an equestrian police officer, and a French baker scout leader. In the end, Nathan feels a sense of pride for solving the problem by taking the lead.
