Incredible storytelling with an excellent exploration of moral philosophy
I was NOT expecting this book to be so clever and convoluted (not in a way that makes it hard to follow, just in a “wow how did the author come up with this?” sense)
A really great way to dip your toes into moral philosophy in a way that doesn’t feel like homework, but which will really make you think.
The performances of the narrators is great; I’m always really impressed when separate narrators are able to effectively capture the vocal patterns of the characters predominantly voiced by another actor, and I normally don’t like soundscapes in my audiobooks, but this one is a perfect, subtle suggestion of ambiance without making me feel like I’m listening to a radio play.
An incredibly captivating and satisfying read.
