endearing...but short

I did enjoy this journey of falling in love and understanding. A mix of sweet, sad, painful and tender joy...and so well narrated by author, as usual. But, too short - struggle with the value for money, and did try to get at lowest cost, but compared to hours of listening for a full novel, this doesn't quite stack up. Got me through house cleaning on a Saturday morning.

Chris Brinkley is what hope sounds like.

When your heart is broken and you need all the creature comforts that will sooth your soul and give you hope in men kind then this book should be added in get in your pj's, wear your fluffy slippers, grab your favorite ice-cream and a glass of wine. go curl up on your favorite couch, watch the rain, and listen to this book. Chris Brinkley is a plaster. Not just the sound of his voice but also the words that he writes. Thank you, Chris; for all the hope you keep alive.
