Publisher's Summary

With the successful conclusion of the monster subjugation campaign, Eizo returns home with a new addition to the family—Lidy!

However, his days of battling beasts aren't quite over. During a chance encounter with Samya's childhood friend, Jolanda, the family learns of another corrupted bear that's stalking around the Black Forest. Jolanda also mentions a tantalizing rumor about a magical knife, which Rike and Eizo are eager to investigate. Could this be a new product to add to Forge Eizo's lineup?

Eizo also receives a new large-scale commission that will test his skills, along with some troublesome news—there are signs of a revolution brewing in the neighboring empire. Things go from bad to worse when Eizo finds out that the legendary mercenary Lightning Blade Helen has been taken prisoner by the empire! Can a humble blacksmith come to her rescue? And with so many irons in the fire, can Eizo still forge a quiet life?

love yhe series but...

ok I have only one complaint... stop repeating yourself within the story drives me bonkers.

besides that the story was captivating and got me immersed and this series always tends to bring a smile to my face.(except the reaptivness)

also Greg Chun does a great Jon but.... we need a females voice maybe Rebecca Woods or Jessica Threat.
anyeays 10 out 10 recomend the whole series, looking forward to book 6

Slow life of a blacksmith and slow story…

I like the story itself but in every book there are a lot of repetitions from different perspectives and only 60% is the story itself with half of it designated for trading with Kamilo.

Performance is great!

Don’t think I will get the 5th one. Every book there is a spoiler about battle between a hero and demon queen, in whatever book is the last there will be the battle - end of story.
