About this listen
Lane: Shaw and I have a unique kind of love. One that has found us inviting a third to join our bed from time to time. Our playmate is never meant to be anything more—fulfilling a purpose and leaving before sunrise the following day.
It had been the rule until Shaw went and confessed that he wants more. There's just one problem. I've been keeping a secret from the man I vowed to love forever. And it's the key to why we can never be a committed triad.
Shaw: Sex is more than an action; it's an intimate exchange between partners. And I can no longer continue to have meaningless sex with strangers that disappear in the morning light.
I never thought the man I love would be so opposed to sharing our life with another—until a stranger lands in our bar one night.
Keegan: I'm no stranger to denying myself the basic needs I want in life. It's how I ended up here, alone, on the cusp of my dream job.
My plans, goals, and ambitions fall apart before my very eyes, and it's then that two strangers find their way into my life. Professional football may not be ready for an out and proud coach, but I'm willing to take a chance on the two men who I vow will one day be mine.
Contains mature themes.

Loved some things about this but not others!
Shaw and Lane own a gay bar called the Malebox and the couple often invite a third for the night. Shaw would like them to be a committed thruple but Lane has been burnt before by a similar situation. However, both men can’t stop thinking about Keegan, the closeted pro-football who shared their bed for a night, and he finds them equally compelling. It will take a lot of trust and negotiation to stop the three men from hurting each other.
This instalove / sports / MMM romance had a lot of heated chemistry and for most of the story there was minimal angst—all problems resolved quickly or easily—and I worried it was going to be bland all the way through. But, towards the end of the book the author really laid on the relationship angst and trauma—finally! I’m not a huge fan of instalove, I found the relationship(s) rushed, and I thought Lane’s reluctance to form a thruple, move, or start a joint business was wholly justified … why the rush? I liked the guys and I liked the dynamic between them but I felt there was a strange misogyny in Shaw’s attitude to Sophie that didn’t need to be included, especially the repeated use of the C-word. As is often the case with later books in a series, I was initially swamped by the number of characters and assumed knowledge but it also happened at the end of the book, so I wouldn’t recommend this as a standalone. 🎧 I really love veteran voice artists John Solo (Shaw) and Chris Chambers (Lane, Keegan), but it was really confusing for Chris to narrate two of the characters: it was incredibly hard to keep track of which character he was portraying (currently free on the Audible Plus catalogue).

This Author can’t write
This book was extremely underwhelming to the point of being absurd. The characters were poorly fleshed out but my greatest frustration is how terribly the romance between the three men is written with one of the characters falling into Insta-love within less than an hour of meeting. Meanwhile the other character is thinking about how to leave him. I hate how shallow they all are and how meaningless their relationship is, for all they preach about wanting connection. I would not recommend this book. Great premise. No depth. If you would like a book with a similar set up but we’ll written I would recommend checking out A.E Veia. (I may not have spelt it right) I think it is called you can see me it shouldn’t be hard to find, and it’s very good😊
