Born Again Barbra-phile!
Although Barbra’s music & cinematic accomplishments were always a peripheral part of my life - I was never “avid”. The love theme from The Way We Were came out a year after I lost my brother. A Star Is Born came out when I was 14. Henceforth I couldn’t hear TWWW. Or “With One More Look At You” without crying. But it’s only now that I’m older that I fully appreciate how much her voice and personae impacted me. I wish I’d paid more attention. I may have done more with my life creatively. I loved getting the opportunity to live in Barbra world for the weeks it took to finish this book. THANK YOU BARBRA. The attention to detail - particularly regarding the creative process - was compelling. The personal tidbits, a juicy bonus!

Wow Wow Wow
Like everyone else I thought there was a typo in the 48 hours. It turned out to be much longer than that because as she described each movie in such detail I then went and watched the movie before moving on with her story. What a truly remarkable woman. Thank you so much Barbra for the music, the laughs, the tears and most of at for the truth.

Brilliant - loved getting to know Babs
At first I thought 44 hours was a download mistake - but wow Barbra left nothing out - I loved her description of all her movies that I re watched them and took note of what she was saying - just a wonderful giving loving caring human with a magical voice

Truely an open beautiful story
I loved this book, I too value truth over lies. Barbra tells her story warts and all with love, laughter, truth and humility.

There is nothing I have enjoyed more than listening to Barbra Streisand reflect on the life she has lived and the life she is loving and looking forward to. Her voice has been like listening to an old friend get lost in a story, laughing and crying as she reflects. I didn't want the conversation to end. Honesty Wisdom love
Thank you Barbra I so enjoyed listening to you your life story made me laugh, cry, feel so happy for you with your honesty I remember many of your movies, & shows I loved your detailed description of clothing, family,friends, you were very generous I am a couple of years older than you, I just lost my husband of fifty eight years he was a treasure your story has been a blessing for me especially @ night thank you

One of the best!
When I saw it was 48 hrs long I thought someone had made a typo, but it turns out you really get bang for your buck with Barbra Streisand’s book. And still I could have listened for another 48 hours. What an amazing artist and human being, and what an interesting life. Thank you sharing it with the world.
