Probably the best of the series in a while

As usual, this series takes a while to get to the point, but this book finally moves the plot forward fairly dramatically. The last fifth was particularly good and signalled a long coming change in the way the story will progress. The author has incredible patience to hold onto certain plot points for so many books. It’s actually kind of impressive. I feel like this guy could write 50 books in this series and detail Rudeus’s entire life from start to finish, maintaining a certain level of quality. The upcoming books will certainly be interesting.
