About this listen
Let bestselling author T.A. Williams transport you to Siena in this addictive murder mystery
Perfect for fans of Lee Strauss and Beth Byers.
A lazy weekend in the country…
Dan Armstrong and the new love of his life, Anna, are heading to a hotel deep in the gorgeous Tuscan countryside for a long weekend, looking forward to some time away from the stresses of their day jobs. With the beautiful and historic city of Siena just around the corner, it promises to be relaxing and enjoyable. What could possibly go wrong?
A mutilated body…
But when a mutilated body is discovered in the hotel grounds Dan is called in to help with the investigation. But who or what could have been responsible for such a vicious attack? Was it the work of wild animals, or is there a brutal murderer at large?
A killer who cried wolf?
Dan knows he is dealing with a clever killer – whether two- or four-legged! And as he sets out to solve the case he begins to worry about his own loyal canine companion. Could Oscar be in more danger than any of the other hotel guests or is a murderer trying to cover their tracks?

Not quite as good
While the performance was good, the plot was a bit too complicated for a cosy mystery series.

A food feast
Another light hearted audio set in Tuscany. This story is perhaps, the least interesting of the murder series so far, with a dizzy array of suspects, all with very dubious reasons to kill another human being, but the narrator is wonderful and very easy to listen to, and the food he describes makes you long for a trip to Italy.

Another interesting plot
I’m liking the characters more and more including Oscar. This is a fun crime series with plenty of fine dining descriptions as well. Will read the next in series.

More descriptors of Tuscany
I really liked the descriptions of Tuscany. The ending was rather a let down but I will leave that to others.

Searing, Salacious Scientists in Sienna
Delicious food, salubrious scenery. Enough intrigue to interest but not terrify. A trip to Italy without all that tedious mucking around in airports.

Always a good story
A carefully woven storyline complemented by a first class narrator. Cozy, continental crime at its best.
