True delight
Seldom does a book create for its reader the full gamut of laughter, sadness, horror, empathy, suspense and whimsy . Khan takes us on a journey which at once envelops us in spice, past glories, decay, brash modernity, so that we are transported to Mumbai to inhabit it with the plethora of colourful, awful, wonderful and loving characters he draws so vividly.
