Something stinks in Clovis, New Mexico and it's not just the dozens of dairies and numerous stockyards in the area. Government and corporate corruption have unique smells all their own. The mysterious deaths of two local community leaders, the sudden influx of outsiders, and local law enforcement becoming overly aggressive in every way, has the local citizenry stricken with confusion, fear and anxiety. Vincent Anthony D'Angelo, a U.S. Coast Guard veteran and a true fish out of water, hailing from the shores of Boggy Bayou in northwest Florida, arrives in Clovis, and none too soon. At the invitation of a former shipmate, Vince is brought in to help piece together the puzzle that has brought corruption and murder to a once peaceful and pleasant small town in eastern New Mexico.
