About this listen

The second original, touching, twisted, and most of all hilarious novel and audiobook for children performed by David Walliams, Matt Lucas and Nitin Ganatra.

The characters from David’s book spring to life with fantastic voices and characters galore that will make you laugh out loud.

Read by David Walliams, Matt Lucas and Nitin Ganatra.

"Mr Stink stank. He also stunk. And if it was correct English to say he stinked, then he stinked as well…”

Chloe sees Mr Stink every day, but she’s never spoken to him. Which isn’t surprising, because he’s a tramp, and he stinks.

But there’s more to Mr Stink than meets the eye (or nose) and before she knows it, Chloe has an unusual new friend hiding in her garden shed.

As Chloe struggles to keep Mr Stink a secret, and her dad tries to hide a secret of his own, the stage is set for an epic family confrontation. But there's one other person with an extraordinary secret – Mr Stink himself…

Great story, great narration!

What a beautiful story. Enough giggles to make it enjoyable and enough pointy bits to keep it real. Some great conversations had with my 8 and 9 year olds as the story unfolded. Brilliant!
And superb narration too. Pitch. Depth. Pace. All spot on. Thank you for a superb few hours of listening and many more discussing!!

Family Road Trip worthy

Dear Mr Walliams,

As a Parent I was a bit apprehensive about letting my kids listen /read your books.

Little Britain came out when I was 18, and I loved/love it, but there is no way I would let my kids watch it though.

So how could you go from 'Bitty', Anne and Emily Howard to kids books? Easily!
These are the books I would have read when I was a kid.
Just a little bit gross, a little bit off (Mr stink would eat it if he could), a whole lot of heart and 99% funny (1% right in the heart strings though... Ouch).

We were on a family holiday and we chose this to listen instead of the usual 'Capitalist Mouse' music.
My wife and I have a habit of 'forgetting' to put the mouse music back on when we set off on a car trip with the kids, but we never forgot to put Mr Stink back on!

Good work David Walliams, you helped this young family have an unforgettable experience.

Kind regards,
Daniel from Tasmania.

Entertainment at its best

Great story that kept the kids entertained (and quiet) on a long car journey. Funny parts, sad parts, and very touching.
