فرجع سي نجيب بكُرسيه إلى الخلف قليلًا، وأسند رأسهُ إلى الكرسي و ظل ينظر إلى السماء قائلًا: قصتي يا ولدي كقصة طفل صغير استيقظ من نومه فلم يجد أمَّه بجانبه، فظن بفكرهِ البسيط أنها ضاعت، فخرج يبحث عنها بين الشوارع والأزقة، والدموع تملأ عينيه حتى إذا يئس من البحث اكتشف أنه لا يستطيع الرجوع إلى البيت بمفرده، فزاد حُزنه وجلس يبكي ويلوم نفسه حتى سمع صوت أمه وهي تجري وتصيح بحثا عنه..فأصبح الباحث مبحوثًا عنه، والمبحوث عنه باحثًا...

إنّها ليست ككلّ الحكايات بل هي رحلة سي نجيب المبهجة ..من الشكّ إلى الإيمان.
