Great ad for gentle fiction

I love Titchmarsh’s books. They have gentleness and heart and are thought-provoking. This one brought back so many memories of travelling slowly in France and Italy. His characters are beautifully drawn and I felt as if I got to know them quickly.
Most of all, I love it that Alan Titchmarsh reads the books himself. His voice is musical, evocative and perfect for his stories. Another wonderful story.
