About this listen
The third hilarious book in the series from Foz. J. Foster. Mr. FlannelFoot meets Santa at Edwards grandparents cottage, where fun and mayhem ensue. A magical, fun story with traditional values and comedy. Filled with fun the whole family can relate to and enjoy.
Original new story written, illustrated, and recorded by Cornish folk from the deepest, darkest Cornwall, UK. Based at the location of the Great Works Mine Godolphin, where Mr. FlannelFoot is from. Originally from 1682, Mr. FlannelFoot travels through time and a different dimension to keep an eye on children that won’t go to sleep at night. He’s summoned accidentally to their rooms by parents who remember the story told to them when they were little. He’s a nice fellow with a penchant for brightly coloured socks; he waits until they go to sleep, causing fun and chaos at the same time. He builds relationships with certain people, and there are lots of links and twists in the stories.
In his journeys, Mr. FlannelFoot helps children and their parents and even saves pets and meets talking animals and magical creatures along the way. The narration is masterly done by an ex-Cornish patriot, Jens Hansen. This being a fun comedy that children and everyone young at heart will love. No need to be scared of the dark; Mr. FlannelFoot will keep an eye on you, and all he wants in return is a brightly coloured sock! Enjoy this new Cornish story and remember, “A world without all your socks in their pairs is chaos!" mrflannelfoot.co.uk
