About this listen

As the months in the time loop seem to add up without end, Zorian forms alliances with acquaintances old and new in an effort to solve the mystery of the loop and save his city—maybe even the world—from destruction.

But while his mage skills develop and he pursues more advanced and unusual forms of magic, Zorian must battle necromancers, fanatical cultists, and vicious creatures—all while avoiding the attention of the lich who could kill him...permanently.

Great book except

Jack Voraces followed the books description a bit too well. The little sisters annoying voice is done too well. When you have to listen to it every time he restarts it gets a bit on your nerves

Perfectly adequate

I find some of the character voices a bit racist and others just plain annoying. While the story itself was okay, I think it would have been far improved if it was edited down by about a third.

Big step down from first book

Major disappointment. Could stand listening past half way. You basically sit through lesson after painful less with the same formula of MC getting frustrated at his teachers. This goes on and on and on lesson after boring lesson, story doesn’t progress at alllll. Super bored and very happy to be listening to something else. Couldn’t finish this book which is rare for me. It is nothing like the first book.

soo drawn-out

takes so long to get anywhere in the story. It's like an essay with a minimum word count. Every little thing is puffed up with descriptions that the story never seems to be progressing.
