During the US book tour for his memoir, Hitch-22, Christopher Hitchens collapsed in his New York hotel room to excruciating pain in his chest and thorax. Beautifully crafted and insightful

I enjoyed Hitchens' beautifully crafted account of his own demise, without succumbing to a tale of self-pity. His keen insights draw on the listener's self awareness and that of others, and encourage empathy and a deep desire to maintain the same level of dignity and intellect on the inevitable journey to the finish line.
