"هجرات المريسكيين" كتاب يرصد مأساة مسلمي الأندلس عن طريق تتبع حكاية الموريسكيين وهم المسلمون الذين أُجبروا على اعتناق المسيحية بعد سقوط الأندلس، وتحديداً منذ سقوط غرناطة سنة 1492م، ومع أن الإسبان قصدوا بمصطلح "الموريسكيين" تصغير شأن هذه الفئة المسلمة داخل أراضيهم، فإن مصطلح "لموريسكي" استقر خلال القرنين السادس عشر والسابع عشر وأصبح الاسم المعتاد لهم، وظلَّ الموريسكيون في نظر الإسبان مسلمون وإن أصبحوا "مسيحيين جدداً".

كما يتحدَّث الكتاب باستفاضة عن ثورة الموريسكيين المعروفة بثورة البشرات بقيادة "محمد بن أمية" والتي لم يُكتب لها النجاح فيشرح هنا عن أسباب إخفاقها وما تلاها من ازدياد الظلم والتضييق على المسلمين هناك.

يحتوي الكتاب أيضًا على فصول عديدة يتتبع الكاتب من خلالها هجرات الموريسكيين وتاريخهم وسرُّ وجود أحفادهم حتى الآن في المغرب العربي !
