About this listen
FROM THE BEST SELLING AUTHOR OF THE SUPERVILLAINY SAGA:
"Welcome to the Moon!"
Neal Gordon and his partners, former actress Lucy Westenra and intelligent canine Barksley, are in hot water with Cyberlife after a bust goes disastrously wrong. Put on what is likely to be permanent suspension, they receive a job offer to work for EarthGov directly. Unfortunately, EarthGov is hiring them because they know a catastrophic plague is about to be unleashed throughout the Moon's neighborhood.
Neal finds himself trying to unravel a conspiracy involving poisoned narcotics, a sham church founded by humans from another planet, and a mysterious woman from his past that he was sure had died.
Enjoy this latest satirical entry in the Moon Cops series that is already a best-selling new entry in the Futurepunk universe (Agent G, Cyber Dragons, Space Academy) by C. T. Phipps!

A sequel that surpasses the original!
This sequel somehow manages to do the impossible and be even better than the original, which is something rare. The original and the best is a saying for a reason.
However, this book keeps the best parts of book two while improving on them. I'll try and explain without spoilers.
Following pretty closely from book one, Neal and Barksley are doing their best to hunt The Guild (see book one to know who they are). However, things are interrupted by a mysterious female ninja who comes out of nowhere with a bunch of killer drones. They soon learn that The Guild is the least of their worries, with a plague threatening the entire colony of the Moon.
After that... well I won't spoil things, but wow! I did NOT see any of that coming!
We're re-introduced to the same cast of charmingly crazy folks from book one, while meeting some new ones this time.
Speaking of the characters, one thing that I really love about this series is the consequences. Characters who fight, bond, or break up in book one are still dealing with the consequences of those actuons and decisions in a real and believable way that does a lot to make them feel real to me.
I thought the action was perfectly done, fast paced, exciting and kept me hooked from chapter to chapter.
If you've read book one, you know the basics of what you're getting into, just boosted to a ten. It was hilarious, heartbreaking, and genuinely exciting!
I can't wait to see what's next in this series, it's easily becoming my new favorite from this author.
(Also, I absolutely LOVE Barksley and demand his merch in my life!)
