Desperate for her marriage to Dr. Sam Slater to bring her the good fortune she longs for, tragedy seems to follow Lucy Magee everywhere. She’s devastated when their first picnic together ends with the discovery of a dead body on his land, and soon, she’s receiving anonymous threats: Someone is trying to force them out. Will their love be enough to save them, or is she really destined for a life of misfortune?

Running from her life in the brothel, Martha Walters is desperate to find a husband. Answering a listing for a mail-order bride, she meets gentle farmer Gray Jenkins, 10 years her senior. Martha falls head over heels for Gray, but she has a secret from her past threatening their one shot at happiness. Can the couple finally find true love, despite Martha’s troubled past?

Fiona Wilkins is eager to escape high society and embark on a new life. Her father plans to auction her into a loveless marriage, but she escapes to Montana to marry ranch hand Eddie Murtaugh. Their carriage gets hijacked on the way, and Eddie is left devastated. Can they escape fate’s plans and secure a life of love and happiness together?

good stories. great buy. ok narrator

I loved thst I could buy 4 books for the price of 1!! I enjoyed all of the stories and loved that they tied into each other. I didn't like the Irish accent done throughout the books but other than that the narrator did an alright job and was fine to understand and listen too.

I will buy more of the authors stories simply for the bargain of 4 for 1 books as the stories remind me ones of my favourite author whose aren't available on audible.
