Lake
The human is exquisite. The first moment he told me he was going to hunt me down, I felt my heart burst. He’s beautiful, sassy, angry, and going to be mine (even if he thinks he can refuse my charms). But what Declan doesn’t know about me is that there’s a reason I’m hiding as a human among monster hunters. And while he definitely doesn’t know why, he’s willing to work with me because the people around us strangely want Declan and me dead at the end of this (I mean, who would want to kill us? We’re amazing).
But honestly…what’s more fun than dragging a hunter off to the dark side?
Warning: This is a chaotic monster and a chaotic human. Stuff happens. People die (but they were bad, so it doesn’t matter, right?) and there’s plenty of humor alongside a budding romance.

Brilliant
Seriously didn’t know what to expect , but this book is brilliant and narration awesome , Iam hooked can’t wait to read the next one .. just hilarious

M/M monster story with humor
Didn’t know anything about this, just took a chance when looking for something different from my usual. This was funny from start to finish, it had me almost with a permanent smile on my face every time I was listening to, the voice actors were great.

A great read
This book was hilarious and the perfect listen after a long day. The narration was fantastic and really allowed me to escape into the story. I do hope this is a series and more books come out soon

hilarious
Alice Winters never lets me down when I need a good chuckle. Lake is a ridiculous charater who gives laugh after laugh.

Loved it!!!!! Go fish!
I loved this story! Sir Reginald reminds me of my own beta fish named Boop! He would go on car trips with me when on holidays, and used to love to playfully boop my finger. He used to charge at the finger then slow right down last minutes to gently boop it then happily swim off. he was the best fish ever, so loving the fish representation and letting people know they need a big tank for long term use :D
Also I loved Lake!!!!! He was such a fun character! Loved his dedication to his pets and non judgments towards humans despite how they treated him.

Can Alice Winters even write a bad story??
Alice continues to be the Queen of snarky banter with another story that has all the fun and action you would hope for. The narration by Michael Ferraiuolo is fantastic as ever and precisely the reason why I wait for the audiobooks! I can't wait to see what happens next!

Another funny story
Another funny story from Alice Winters, enjoyed the characters and Lakes flirting with Declan throughout the story but felt the end was rushed, one minute they’re breaking up and we’re wondering what’s going on and the next they’re fighting side by side and it was all over.

the ending felt a bit rushed
the audio was great, the characters were fun, the shenanigans were hectic, and the ending felt a bit rushed. overall, it's a fun listen.

Poorly written gay porn fantasy.
Potentially a good story line, spoiled by poor structure and unnecessary graphic sex descriptions. Not a problem if this was anywhere forewarned in the description or category (fantasy, comedy)
