Publisher's Summary

How well can you ever really know someone? As Ben Casper watches his best friend plummet from her sixth-floor apartment balcony, he realises his life is about to change. Diana had no reason to kill herself, she had to have been pushed. Diana worked for the CIA, so the investigation into her death is kept tightly under wraps. But Ben is a political journalist, and can feel that something isn’t right.

Ben starts investigating for himself and soon discovers Diana was leading a double life he knew nothing about. But when more people involved die in questionable circumstances, it’s clear that someone doesn’t want the truth to be uncovered. And unless Ben drops his investigation, he could be next…

loved it. favourite audiobook so far<br />

At first I wasn't loving the narrator, but it didn't take long for him to grow on me. I became pretty obsessed with the story quickly, and kustened at every moment I could.

Shocker

If this book wasn’t for you, who do you think might enjoy it more?

This book is definitely not written by James Paterson. I neither has his skill as a story teller nor the seriousness of a well written mystery. Lift your game when choosing other writers Mr Paterson!

Would you ever listen to anything by James Patterson again?

Not if they are endorsed books written by another person

Would you be willing to try another one of Kevin T. Collins’s performances?

No!

get through the 1st hour then it is OK

Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?

It was OK .... It took a bit of time to engage me .... Took ages to warm to or even understand the main character.

Who was your favorite character and why?

None really ... difficult to engage with them

What three words best describe Kevin T. Collins’s voice?

Ok... Passable ...Annoying....

If this book were a film would you go see it?

Possibly

Any additional comments?

You really need to get through the 1st hour to 90 minutes and then it starts to improve. The main character is a pain in the butt with all his neurotic foibles....
