A great listen
Loved Manon, lead detective. I enjoyed all of this book but a word of warning, the narrator reads like she's reciting a poem and it drove me mad. As the book progressed she read more like a good narrator should. Not sure I could do another with her though

Missing, Presumed wow
Really enjoyed this book, unusual twist I wasn’t expecting.
Characters very real and flawed that I became invested in.

A menagerie of dislikable characters
Then uniting theme of the book seems to be to whine: first about the detective’s own unsatisfactory life then it finds more shallow and unlikeable characters for her to whine about.
