About this listen

Crazy has no memory and feels no fear. Dangerous and unpredictable, he's locked away in SafeHaven, a psychiatric hospital, where he spends the long days watching Wheel of Fortune and wondering what the outside world smells like. When a mysterious visitor arrives and offers him a way out Crazy doesn't hesitate to accept.

But outside the hospital Crazy is faced with a world on the brink of nuclear annihilation, and finds himself relocated to Neuro Inc., a secretive corporation with strange government ties. When he discovers evidence of human experimentation he escapes with a syringe, the contents of which are unknown to him but precious to Neuro. Cornered and with a complete disregard for the results, Crazy makes himself indispensable by injecting the substance into his leg.

As the substance enters his bloodstream, though, his eyes are opened to a world beyond human experience, where fear is a tool and the shadows hide the source of mankind's nightmares. Struggling to understand his new abilities, Crazy allies himself with the company he fled and begins peeling back the layers of his past, the brewing war between worlds, how he can stop it - and what he did to start it.

With Mirrorworld, Robinson, whose trademarked pacing and inventive plots have been highly praised by bestselling authors like Jonathan Maberry, Scott Sigler, and James Rollins, treats listeners to a wildly imaginative, frenetically paced thriller exploring the origins of fear.

Mirrorworld - Awesome!

This book had me hooked from start to finish. Normally I can guess the direction of a story and guess the ending with pretty good accuracy but not this one. Mirrorworld kept me enthralled so much that I struggled to stop listening and get on with my day. Hats off to R C Bray again for an awesome narration.

Entertaining ride

Such a clever story that kept me engaged for the whole book and loved the main character and his unique abilities that developed over the story. Somehow manages to navigate complex ideas and settings in the story and track various characters and events throughout. I don't think this is "fancy" literature but gosh JR and RCB can tell a rip roaring yarn that is never dull, thoroughly entertaining and lots of fun. Worth a listen.

Great Story

Any additional comments?

Great story about alternate realities and dimensions. Really enjoyed this book. Jeremy Robinson is a great story teller, and RC Bray is a good narrator

I wish RC Bray would narrate my thoughts.

Great narration by RC Bray as ussual, the story started out quite interesting but slowly descended into cliche, saying that, I still enjoyed it and it is worth a read/listen.

Just about got through it…

Story was quite poor, RC as usual very good but can only work with what he has.
There are far better ways to spend your time, I would give this one a miss.

disappointing

some of these books have had entertaining plots with good twists and well-paced action. in contrast this was a series of excessively long action sequences which felt like a B grade script for a Hollywood action film. A dull and lazy plot.
