About this listen

Use this book as your guide to loving more of the things, people, and practices that bring value to your life while reducing the stress and negativity from those that don't. Minimalism isn’t all about downsizing and budgeting. Minimalism is about applying practical techniques so that you can focus on what really matters. In this book, you will learn about minimalism, its history, its guiding principles, and its application. You will also learn specific techniques for applying minimalist practices in your everyday life.

If you want to thrive by living a happier and stress-free life, you need this book.

Today, a “minimalist lifestyle” can be defined as having a life based on what is essential to one’s health and the health of the environment. It is pretty straightforward: identify what you need and get rid of the rest. Of course, everyone has different needs. One can make the decision to go back to the basics, or leave some space for luxury. This book will guide you through the minimalist principles that you should adhere to if your goal is to live a life where you value and love more of the essential while eliminating and reducing all that brings you stress.

Worth the listening

Covers the basics of minimalism without spending the whole book on ways to declutter ‘stuff’.

Gentle movement from minimal actions in decluttering to speech and covers how to be a minimalist in other areas of your life including friendships and thoughts.

The narrator’s gentle soothing tones made it an enjoyable journey through the whole book.
