Publisher's Summary
From Wall Street Journal and USA Today best-selling author Natasha Madison comes a small-town best-friends-to-lovers romance.
Are you ready for the Southern Wedding series?
Things are supposed to go smoothly on your wedding day.
Aren't they?
Shelby
I got a love letter the night before I was supposed to marry the love of my life. Except the letter wasn't for me. My future husband had written it to someone else.
Weston (Ace)
Standing at the altar to watch my best friend get married was an honor. Finding out that he was sleeping with my girlfriend was a nightmare. Everything I knew was a lie.
When the opportunity came to get out of town and leave my ex behind, I took it.
Umbrella drinks and broken hearts don't mix well.
I shouldn't want Shelby for myself—but I do. I want her more than I've ever wanted anyone.
Maybe, she was just mine to hold.

I definitely love these two and I’m so glad they got together. Really enjoyed listening to their story. Especially listening to Jason and Virginia who did a fabulous job bringing this story to life ❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥

"All I could..."
I have very mixed feelings about this book. I'm not bothered that the friends to lovers thing is a fairly basic trope and I do feel like it helps to justify the speed of a fictional relationship. On the other hand. we really didn't get any background of their relationship at the start and once they got together it seemed like it was JUST sex.
I really liked the whole beginning section and the way Shelby handled calling off the wedding. I appreciate a female character who isn't all shrieky and hysterical.
However, I found the writing quite annoying. I might not have noticed if I was reading it but listening to it, you can't ignore how many times the phrases "all I could do was... all I could smell was... all I could see was... etc" were used. In some parts of the book it was every second sentence. My frustration at this repetition really ruined my enjoyment of the book and its put me off buying another book in this set.
