About this listen
In the international bestseller REAL, the unstoppable bad boy of the underground fighting circuit finally met his match. Hired to keep him in prime condition, Brooke Dumas unleashed a primal desire in Remington. Tate as vital as the air he breathes…and now he can't live without her.
Brooke never imagined she would end up with the man who is every woman's dream, but not all dreams end happily ever after, and just when they need each other the most, Brooke is torn away from the ringside. Now with distance and darkness between them, the only thing left is to fight for the love of the man she calls Mine.

it simply gets tougher
I had a lot to say about book 1 so I won't reiterate. yes, Ms Evan's set the scene in REAL and as much as the intensity and depth is still in this one, it's directed more on Remys twist in book 1. this was an emotional rollercoaster and the angst ratcheted up a notch.
i want to say so much but don't want to spoil the book.
a book can be so much more when you can identify, which I do and Ms Evan's portrayed this in a staggeringly clever way, she keeps you breathless while unfurling the depth.
example after example is thrown at you, at how life is only as real as what you know, not necessarily what you see!!! the way this story is moulded around the base facts of someone's reality is brilliant...you as a reader/listener just have to look deeper than the words gleaned and see what the authors intentions are. well done and I'm in awe.
again the narrator was good but the intensity of this book, to me, just screamed dual narration.
book 3 is Sebastian York and I CANNOT pass on him, imagining his voice as Remy. O...M...G. and yes he's a solo narrator but this time we get to delve into Remys POV. this, I believe, will drive reality home as I'm predicting Ms Evan's will be writing with more knowledge on her subject.
book 1, 2 and I'm thinking 3, are not panty melting, mysogonistic novels....although you do get all that....and more...

EPIC!!!
5+ “firecracker” stars!!!!! O.M.G.! EPIC book hangover right here!!! MINE was utterly delicious and heartbreakingly beautiful!! Oh my... just two words: Remington Tate. This insanely powerful, sensual and gorgeous man is the epitome of a PRIMAL ALPHA MALE!! I have not had the pleasure of meeting any hero this broken, raw, possessive and protective. His love and devotion to Brooke went above and beyond. And I loved that Brooke reciprocated Remy’s love and affection just as strongly! I loved Remy and Brooke’s journey which was filled with so much angst that my heart permanently took residence in my throat for the majority of this book. But what I LOVED most was that they faced their obstacles together as a couple. They fought fiercely for their love and family, and that just made me weep with pure joy and happiness for this couple.

Omg the HEA melted me!!!!
I couldn’t get enough of the love between Remy & Brooke. Even when Remy wasn’t at his best he was still so in love with Brooke. The same can be said for Brooke. Even when she was struggling with jealousy or Remy was in a bad place she stood by him and did everything she could to help him get through. I did find this book a bit predictable as I was able to guess what was coming for the most part but I was surprised at times too. The HEA in this book is everything 😍
