Good for insomnia and labour
I listened to this in my last trimester. I found it extremely soothing to listen to and the narrator's voice is perfect.
I found the hypno exercises really great for helping me fall back to sleep when I had 3rd trimester insomnia.
As for my birth, it all happened so quickly, I didn't get to listen to the tracks as planned. But I did try to remember the coping strategies as best as I could during labour. Who knows if giving birth was improved from this audio book or not; but overall I had a positive, fast, first time labour without any complications. So no complaints from mum and bub.

worth it
loved it. great meditations in between the chapters and the whole list of meditations at the end are so easy and convenient that I dont have to search for them, they are all lined up at the end. I listen to them every night and fall asleep easily.

Lovely narration, slight bias against hospitals
I felt there was a slight bias against hospitals throughout this book. Got to 6hours to go and just couldn’t persevere for the sake of it. Hoping to use the hypno birthing tracks for our labour (in a hospital).

Incredible book
I’m 34 week pregnant with first baby and have thoroughly enjoyed listening to this book. Lots of helpful tips and meditations to do. Her voice is very calm and relaxing. Naturally she is all for births that are as natural and intervention free, but she doesn’t exclude discussing all other options as sometimes they are unavoidable (or the choice in your situation). I highly recommend this book to any mum to be that wishes for as natural as possible birth. I’m now so excited for my birth. Thank you

So relaxing to listen to!
I really enjoyed this. It helped me soften parts of my body I didn't realise were holding tension. looking forward to using these tools throughout my pregnancy & birth ❤️

Excellent for beginners
Excellent book for beginners! In the last part you can find all the exercises. High recommend if you are planning to starting thinking about birth as a mindfulness journey.

Fantastic tool for a calm birth
I listened to this several times before the birth of my first child and I truly believe it was a key factor in me having a calm and intervention free natural birthing experience. I am now pregnant with my second child and am loving listening to it again.
Sophie's voice is so soothing and calming and all the different hypnosis tracks throughout the book are incredibly useful during pregnancy and labour.
I recommend this to all my pregnant friends.

Needed to buy MP3 tracks
The book and concepts although very repetitive (but I guess that's needed for hypnosis bwah haa haa) was really good but audible format was frustrating I actually went and bought the MP3 tracks and borrowed the book from a girlfriend (who had recommended it) as I was unable to use the audio outside of audible app. I tried using bookmarks and clips but it was difficult as the chapter listing didn't come across into the app. So great book but not via audible. Sadly.

Didn’t enjoy the narrator
I personally didn’t enjoy the narrator. I found her quite repetitive and often felt like she was narrating to a child which I don’t enjoy. Likely just my personal preference though!
