About this listen

A follow-up to Shadow Game.

Possessed of an extraordinary telekinetic gift - she can make objects burst into flames - Dahlia Le Blanc has spent her life isolated from other people. But just when she thinks she's finally achieved some semblance of peace, her well-orchestrated world comes crashing down.

For a reason she cannot guess, she has become the target of deadly assassins. Suddenly, no place is safe - not even the secret refuge she established long ago. Now she must rely on Nicolas Trevane, a dangerous warrior sent to track her down and protect her. Together, they generate a scorching heat Dahlia never imagined was possible. But can she trust this man with her secrets, especially when some people would kill to get their hands on them?

Christine Feehan's blend of sizzling romance, high-stakes action, and paranormal phenomena, has landed her on the New York Times, USA Today, and Publishers Weekly best seller lists.

Critic Reviews

"Swift-moving and sexually charged....an electrifying read, one that should satisfy [Feehan's] fans and cement her reputation as the reigning queen of the paranormal romance." (Publishers Weekly)

Perfection!

Love this narrators voice! Soo soothing.. and attractive! Fantastic job going distinctly between male & female characters. & of course great story as well - Great combination of thrills, romance, intensive missions & situations, and friendly banter. Looking forward to the next book in the series.

I loved it, BUT....

Where does Mind Game rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

It was great, I really liked books 1, 2 & 3, I've listened to about 7 of them now, I'm by no means a prude in any sense to explicit sex scenes but the long relentless sex scenes do become quite boring and there are SO many of them it's crazy. I thought they were necessary due to the plot but after 7 books now they are not relevant anymore, we get it. If you're after an x rated marathon then these books are for you. The thing is though the storyline in-between them is excellent. Bring all the characters together for a few cracking books, that's what I've been waiting for but gave up. I personally wanted to see this sooner and who knows it might happen but I'll keep an eye on this series if that day ever comes because it will be awesome.

What other book might you compare Mind Game to, and why?

other Ghostwalker books

Which scene did you most enjoy?

The action/thriller scenes and the well written emotional scenes of scarred people finding themselves again but you can cut 4/5th's of the sex out. It's all the same in every book.

loved this more than book 1

the first book, in my opinion was setting the tone and scene for the ghostwalker series.
but in this book it's more intrigue and angst.
the heroines story was pretty intricate, involved and amazing, the writing by Ms Feehan is simply outstanding making me wonder how she came up with this idea.
not as many steamy scenes in this book, but don't get me wrong, they are there!
this book was really well put together with a good pace and great descriptive scenery...which will put me well into book 3 as it's back in the bayou and it's Gators turn.
Tom Stechschulte is amazing. his accents and inflections just breathe life into these characters, not to mention the way he utilises Ms Feehans humour with the voices, it had me lol. this is also another reason why I'm going to book 3. I love Gators Cajun accent and Tom's gravelly voice just brings it home.

great story

loved the a
story. the only thing that was irritating was the voice for Lily. Tom makes her sound in "small/scared " instead of a strong independent woman.other than that it was great. thank you

One of my favourite series.

Listening to these now, it's easy to see they're dated. Having read the series up to date, the way they talk about Whitney baffles me. But I am enjoying these audio versions.
