About this listen
'Few men are born brave; many become so through care and force of discipline.' Vegetius, De Re Militari, written in the 4th century AD.
__________
The warzone is the most unforgiving environment on the planet. A single mistake or split-second moment of indecision can mean the difference between success and failure, life and death.

With the help of some historical battles, this book provides a framework for you to build an elite mindset and succeed your life and career.
Throughout the book, you will learn:
- How to set achievable goals
- Why you need to push through the pain barrier
- Strategies to eliminate self doubt
- The importance of keeping things simple
- Embracing a positive mindset
- Focussing on the things you can control
- And much more
Written in a clear and direct way, this book provides simple and digestable wisdom to help you level up your life and discover your true potential.

Couldn’t get through it.
I’ve liked most of Ant’s previous books, but this was so hard to get through I just stopped listening. There’s no real order to it, mostly just random stories/rants that have absolutely no real life equivalents. Super boring, no real take aways except that Ant thinks he’s better than everyone else.

There's no more juice to be squeezed
As a staunch Ant Middleton defender, this was disappointing. It's repetitive, non-cohesive, and most importantly, fails to offer any real new ideas. This book reads like the cover looks.
That said, Middleton is always a pleasant listen and sometimes a refresher doesn't hurt - just don't expect any more than that.

Tough love from a tough operator
not a bad book overall, but it comes across as someone whose not really struggled all that much in their achievements. credit to you Ant, but the methods you talk about for goal setting and progress just didn't align with my way of thinking. thank you for writing this.
